COPPER MINE was responsible for the quickest 600 on the number four grass this morning. Working on dead ground, COPPER MINE impressed when sprinting 600 in 36.7.

LOVE AFFAIR and FRANCALETTA came to the end of 1000 in 1:07, completing the 600 in 38.2.

BOSTONIAN who is coming to hand well, was given an easy time over 1000 in 1:10.2. Finishing off in 40.6.

SNITZ OF TIME and SEDUTTORE were timed from the 600 in 42.7. FANTASY ROSE was sent 1000 in 1:12.5 and 41.

DEVISE came in from the 600 in 40.7. RED SENNA was given a relaxed 600 in 40.8. MEDALZA followed in 42.7.

TRUE ENOUGH strode 1000 in 1:14, home in 41. RIPPEDEEDOODAH came to the end of 1000 in 1:10.7 and 41.

LILY THE PINK was clocked over 600 in 41.6. HELMET|HEAVENLY BOUND was kept under a firm hold from the 1000 in 1:10.4 and 41.1.

NINKASI and HEAVENLY EMPEROR worked well together over 1000 in 1:07.4, the final 600 in 39.1.

BELLE TESTA completed 1000 in 1:09.6, the last 600 in 41.3. Galloping on the number one grass, NZ Cup favourite FELAAR looked in first class order when running 1400 in 1:33.1, the 1000 in 1:04.4 and the last 600 in 37.1.

INDECISION maintained a fast gallop from the 1000 in 1:03, dashing the 600 in 36.5. DAWN PATROL who has been working outstandingly over recent weeks was given a comfortable 600 clocked in 42.4.

SAVETTE was in good form when working over 1000 in 1:07.8, completing the final section in 38.4.

Ricoh Fielding Gold Cup Candidate HIGHLAD, drew attention to his prospects when working on the number one grass which provided slow footing.

HIGHLAD was sent 1400 in 1:37, completing the final 600 in 39.3. He has a good record over 2100 and looks at peak fitness for Saturday’s Awapuni feature.

Galloping on a slow number four grass, MISS CAMPBELL and YAMUNA matched strides over a solid 1000 in 1:05.6, sprinting the last 600 in 37.5.

KONSTANTINA looked fit for Tauranga when travelling nicely alongside YOUR WAY from the 1000 in 1:06.6 and 38.

POP STAR PRINCESS travelled sweetly throughout 1000 in 1:11, finishing off in 40.5. AILEEN GRACE, who has copped a horror draw at Gate Pa looked in good order when timed from the 600 in 38.8.

Race rival POWER DREAM, who feared little better in the barrier draw, looked well when completing 1000 in 1:15 and 41.7.

POPPY STAR was timed from the 600 in 41. BREAK MY STRIDE came to the end of 1000 in 1:05.8 and 38.4.

CHARLI ROSE and FRANKLIN worked in from the 600 in 40.4. MARCELLINA ran 1000 in 1:06.6, the last 600 in 39.

BRADSHAW and LADY BLUE were on terms throughout an easy 800 in 58. LOVE AFFAIR ran the last 600 of her 1000 in 38.6.

MASU returned 41 for 600. LET ME TELL YA was given a nice easy 1000 in 1:12 and 44.

A SPEECHCRAFT was clocked from the 600 in 38.7. EXCELSIOR ISLAND and ALVINS DREAM did well over 1000 in 1:07 and 38.1.

KOOL CONNECTION enhanced weekend chances with nice work from the 1000 in 1:07.5, the final 600 in 38.9.

SO YOU SPARKLE left 1000 behind in 1:09.2, finishing off in 39.6. STANDING IN LINE cut out 1000 in 1:09.9 and 39.7.

MERLINI cruised an easy 600 in 43.

ELATE drew attention to her Ellerslie prospects when returning nice work at Cambridge this morning. Galloping on the plough, ELATE, although not after time, travelled sweetly from the 1200 in 1:23, completing the final 600 in 42.4.

The well bred filly from the inform James/Wellwood stable is set to race in the Group 3 Partners Life Soliloquy Stakes this Saturday.

BEAUTY WAY worked well over 1000 in 1:08, the final 600 in 39.2. FELAAR, who should be most competitive in the rating 72 2100 at Ellerslie was kept under a firm hold throughout 800, running the final 600 in 42.8.

LOOSE CANNON was another in good form from the 800 in 58.7. SHERRIF travelled comfortably over 1200 in 1:27.9, the 600 in 43.3.

LADY LIRA was clocked from the 600 in 40.4. LIZZIE L’AMOUR and SAINT EMILION finished on terms after 1200 in 1:22 and 39.9.

VALALIE and SPECTRA left 1000 behind in 1:08.4 and 40.1. PEARLESCENCE cut out 1200 in 1:21.7, finishing off in 38.9.

HIGHLAD and MAYGROVE came to the end of 1000 in 1:08.1 and 40.7. NICOLETTA, who looks at peak fitness, was clocked from the 600 in 41.2.

BOSTONIAN ran the last 600 of his work in 39.3. MONEY TRAIL was given an easy 600 in 44. SACRED DAY returned 1:13 for an easy 1000, the last 600 in 40.7.

JET CHARGED and POET’S VOICE|AMOUR CACHE were clocked over 600 in 40.8. MR SCALLYWAG and GRANDE AMICI returned 44.4 for 600.

DAWN PATROL produced a most impressive gallop on the plough at Cambridge this morning. DAWN PATROL, who is unbeaten in two starts, kept up a strong pace from the 1000 in 1:03, dashing the final 600 in 34.7. One of the quickest sectionals timed on the plough.

DEALS IN HEELS and MONGOLIAN MARSHAL were in good form together from the 1200 in 1:23.1, the last 600 in 37.7.

LADYNADEL and KONSTANTINA left 1000 behind in 1:06.2 and 38. FRATELLO and NEWMARKET were on terms throughout 1000 in 1:06, sprinting the 600 in 37.2.

PEARLESCENCE left 1400 behind in 1:33.7, home in 37.4. SHERRIF and FAWN kept up a strong clip from the 1200 in 1:14, home in 36.2.

MISS RIPPY ran the last 600 of 1200 in 40.1. RED SENNA and BELLA GIOIA were timed from the 800 in 55.7.

TRIPLE DIAMOND worked well over 1000 in 1:06.7 and 37.9. THE REFLEX and VISCONTI were on terms at the completion of 1000 in 1:08.7, the 600 in 41.

BEVAN STREET worked in from the 600 in 41.7. REPEAT followed with similar work.

SAHAR and ELEANOR RIGBY did well over 600 in 1:06.3, the 600 in 37.5.

CROWN PROSECUTOR was restrained from the 800, the final 600 in 41.3.

ESPRESSO MARTINI shaded DAM RELIABLE at the completion of 1000 in 1:06.6, coming home in 37.9.

GO GO GOAL and MAMBA ran 1000 in 1:06.2 and 38.1. ELATE worked nicely from the 1200 in 1:19, sprinting the 600 in 37.7.

BREAK MY STRIDE cut out 1200 in 1:21, home in 38.1. BEACHED AS BRO was given an easy task over 600 in 44.

VERNANME came to the end of 800 in 59. ARCTIC LADY strode 1000 in 1:14, the 600 in 44.

HENLEY and BRADSHAW were timed from the 600 in 40.8. KANUMISS ran 800 in 54.9.

FIERY DRAGON and DAWN APPROACH/OPUS FOUR were clocked over 600 in 39.7. FELAAR worked from the 1200 in 1:20.6 and 40.3.

PITCH AND SWITCH looks ready to produce a bold fresh up run at Rotorua this weekend.

Galloping on the sand PITCH AND SWITCH was not extended over 800m, run in 58.1. She has been working well over recent weeks and was a convincing winner of an open trial earlier in the month.

LOVE AFFAIR looks to have derived benefit from her first up second placing behind the talented TE AKAU SHARK. She came in from the 800m in 54.2. She drops back to 1200m at Rotorua this weekend.

POWER O’HATA looked fit for her Rotorua engagement when completing the final 600m of 800m in 41.

Same can be said for stablemate LADY LIRA who came to the end of 800m in 54.3.

POWER DREAM left 600m behind in 42.1. PAINT THE TOWN ran 600m in 42.7.

FIREFLY was timed from the 600m in 43.4. KALM ‘N’ EASY returned 41.9 for 600m .

UGO FOSCOLO followed in 43. ZANYETTA and MENTAL TELEPATHY matched strides over 1200m in 1:22, finishing off in 42.1.

QUEEN OF DIAMONDS and RHINESTONE COWBOY were on terms throughout 1000m, with the last 600m timed in 40.9.

Working on a dead No1 grass, MADISON COUNTY and QIJI EXPRESS maintained a solid pace from the 1000m in 1:3.6, sprinting the last 600m in 35.7.

HIGHLAD and MAYGROVE finished together after 1000m run in 1:4 and 36.4. INDECISION strode 1000m in 1:9.1 and 39.2.

POWER O’HATA looked at peak fitness when returning excellent work this morning.

Galloping on a slow No 4 grass POWER O’HATA had the better of LADY LIRA at the completion of a smart 1000m run in1:7.9, sprinting the final 600m in 37.4.

LOVE AFFAIR and YOUR WAY were on terms at the finish of 1000m in 1:8, the final section in 38.2.

PITCH AND SWITCH, an impressive trial winner recently, travelled nicely alongside JET CHARGED from the 800m, ruling the last 600m in 38.7.

MISS CAMPBELL was given an easy workout from the 1000m in 1:15.2 and 44.3. APPELLANT looks a filly to keep an eye out for. She travelled sweetly over 800m, the last 600m in 40.1.

POP STAR PRINCESS worked in from the 600m in 39.5. MASU and MR TRUMP came to the end of 1000m in 1.3 and 39.4.

AKOYA followed in 1:9 and 40.3. SHESONFIRE was clocked from the 600m in 42.1.

SAHAR strode 800m in 55.3. COPPER MINE left 1000m behind in 1:9.4 finishing off in 39.

HINERANGI and CAMINO ROCOSO did well when maintaining a fast pace over 1000m in 1:3.7, dashing the last 600m in 36.6.

DAYTONA RED was timed the final 600m of work in 40. ZANIAH worked in from the 600m in 42.2.

RIPLEY and PONT ALMA returned 1:8.1 and 40.8. THOMAS AQUINAS and TOCADO matched strides over 1000m in 1:7.9 home in 39.

SHADOW DANCER ran 600m in 39.2. SAVAPAK left 1000m behind in 1:7.2 the 600m in 38.9.

Team Wealleans Matamata Cup favourite SHERRIF followed outstanding Tuesday work with an easier but no less impressive final workout this morning.

Galloping on the plough, SHERRIF strode nicely from the 1400m in 1:40.2, completing the final 600m in 40.1. He stormed home late for fourth fresh and has improved in the interim. He looks a top prospect provided the track conditions remain reasonable.

GUNDOWN and ZANYETTA, who are race rivals at Matamata, worked well over 1400m in 1:39, sprinting the final 600m in 37.3. Any easing of the track shouldn’t create any problems for either.

GRAND EAGLE should exit maiden ranks shortly judging by his work alongside HARBOURSIDE over 800m, with the concluding 600m timed in 40.

Last start winner ELATE was sent 1000m at three quarter pace, finishing off in 42.3.

CHARLI ROSE and NICOLETTA matched strides over a solid 1000m in 1:5.3, sprinting the 600m in 37.5.

LUEN YAT MIRACLE worked in from the 1000m in 1:24 and 39.5. BEAU JEU and MAYGROVE were sent 1800m, running the last 1200m in 1:24.2, the final 600m in 40.5.

RED SKY AT NIGHT was kept under a firm hold from the 1000m in 1:13 and 43.2. DEALS IN HEELS and BREAK MY STRIDE left 1200m behind in 1:18.2, coming home in 37.

ELEANOR RIGBY, IGNORED and QUEEN OF DIAMONDS ran 1000m in 1:6 and 39.2.

HINERANGI, who has derived much benefit from her fresh up run, came in from the 1000m in 1:12 and home in 38.9.

LADY LIRA and THE REFLEX were in outstanding form at Cambridge this morning.

Galloping on the plough, LADY LIRA and THE REFLEX travelled sweetly together from the 1000 in 1:05.1, sprinting the 600 in 36.7. Both will be worth following over the next few months.

THORNERY and CONCERT HALL came in nicely together from the 800 in 54 and the 600 in 38.3. GUNDOWN edged ahead of HIGHLAD and MAYGROVE after 1600 run in 1:44.4, the concluding 600 in 37.5.

WOODEN EDGE was travelling well throughout 1200 in 1:21 and 38.2. NICOLETTA and VALALIE came to the end of 1200 in 20.2 and 37.5, both look in first class order.

MALLORY SQUARE and GO STARSKY were given an easy 400 in 28.8. BREAK MY STRIDE and THE HEIRESS kept up a good clip from the 1000 in 1:05.2 and 38.

GOLDILICIOUS was clocked from the 1200 in 1:26, home in 43.6. BEAU JEU and MAMBA left 1400 behind in 1:35, home in 37.9.

PINEAPPLE LUMP, MAKFI|PERFECT PARADISE and POCKET A DEAL did well together over 1000 in 1:05.1 and 37.2.

MARCELINA had slightly the better of CHARLI ROSE at the completion of 1200 in 1:18.4, sprinting the final 600 in 37.5. YOUR WAY returned 1:07 and 39.

NEWMARKET and SECRETARIA came in from the 600 in 43.3.

Red Badge Spring Sprint candidates LOVE AFFAIR and DEALS IN HEELS worked nicely together at Cambridge this morning.

Galloping on the plough, LOVE AFFAIR edged slightly ahead of stable mate DEALS IN HEELS after completing 1000 in 1:09.1, sprinting the 600 in 38.3.

LOVE AFFAIR, who races well fresh, has been working well over recent weeks and should be hard to beat. FAWN, who has derived benefit from her recent fresh up 5th placing looks fit for Hastings when coasting comfortably from the 1200 in 1:23.1, the concluding 600 in 41.

RHINESTONE COWBOY enhanced his Hawke’s Bay chances when working well from the 800 in 39. STARRYBEEL, who begins a fresh campaign at Hastings this weekend, was sent an easy 600 in 44, stablemate FELAAR followed in 44.4.

OUT OF THE PARK looked in good order when covering the last 600 of work in 38.3.

WAR AFFAIR, who carries top weight in the Red Badge Spring Sprint was another in good form over 800 in 52.6.

CYBER ATTACK who brings good form into Saturday’s Sacred Falls Hawke’s Bay Guineas was given a comfortable gallop, his last 600 in 42.1.

TOMELILLA left 1200 behind in 1:21.8, the 600 in 38.6. HINERANGI and MONGOLIAN MARSHAL, both good prospects for Hastings, matched strides from the 1200 in 1:20 and 39.

BOBBY DAZZLER, another one of several locally trained Sacred Falls Hawke’s Bay Guineas candidates, was given a comfortable 600 in 44.9. MADISON COUNTY, QIJI EXPRESS and CUTADEEL who all head for Saturday’s 3 year old feature, finished together after 1000 in 1:08.2 and 39.

THOMAS AQUINAS, the fourth Baker/Forsman trained Sacred Falls Hawke’s Bay Guineas hopeful left 800 behind in 54.5.

SHERRIF cut out 1200 in 1:23.4 and 42.1. MAYGROVE ran 1200 in 1:22.9 and 39.9.

ELATE returned 1:24.7 for 1200, the 600 in 41.5. CAMINO ROCOSO impressed over 600 in 37.6.

POWER O’HATA looked fit for weekend racing when completing the final 600 of his work in 40.

MR HASS came in from the 600 in 42. SAINT EMILION was timed from the 1200 in 1:23.4 and 40.4.

LIZZIE L’AMOUR followed in 1.21.1 and 39.1. THE HEIRESS ran 800 in 53.8.

ZANYETA, who races in Sunday’s 2000m Cal Isuzu Te Awamutu Cup, strode nicely from the 1200 in 1:26.7, coming home in 39.4.
