Track Work 18 June 2019

NEW YORK MINUTE looks set to repay the faithful this weekend after completing outstanding work this morning.

Galloping on the inside of a dead/slow No2 grass, which is conducive to fast times, NEW YORK MINUTE hit the line slightly ahead of stable mate TOMELILLA when timed from the 1000m in 1:3.1, dashing the final 600m in 34.6.

Both travelled sweetly throughout. NEW YORK MINUTE cost punters a fortune when disappointing fresh up at Trentham, but should be forgiven for the run on a very tricky track.

She will race in The Ultimate Ford and Mazda Tauranga Classic over 1400m at Tauranga this Saturday and with regular track rider Jonathan Riddell taking the mount she should be hard to beat.

TIPICAL and SKAABOOM maintained a solid pace from the 1000m in 1:4 finishing off in 34.9. REDCAYENNE worked nicely over 1200m, clocked in 1:18.4, sprinting the 600m in 36.3.

PACORUS was sent a comfortable round at three quarter pace, running the final 600m in 43.

BOLT FROM THE BLUE and BOUNDTOBEHONORED kept up a solid clip over 1000m in 1:3.9, home in 35.

MAGNANIMOUS MAN and NOBLE STRIDE worked in from the 600m in 36.4.

GOBSTOPPER and COCHISE were in good form from the 1200m in 1:16.1 and 35.7.

HIGHLAD and FRANKLIN came to the end of 1000m in 1:4.2, the concluding 600m in 35.8.

CHARLI ROSE, INDAH and KONSTANTINA left the 1400m behind in 1:35.2, sprinting the 600m in 35.9.

PEERLESS WARRIOR, DARCEE QUE and VIBRATO strode comfortably over 1000m in 1:8.1 and 39.

POKURU WILD and GLORIOUS OCEAN cut out 1000m in 1:7.4 coming home in 37.4.

BITS AND PIECES was tied the last 600 of work in 38. WINKLEBELLE came in from the 1200m in 1:18.1 and 37.

ZAMAX did well over 1000m in 1:4, the final 600m in 36.1.

SUPERIOR GIRL and EXCEED AND EXCEL were clocked from the 600m in 38.3
