Track Work 11 July 2019

Another foggy morning at Cambridge prevented the timing of most gallops.

Working on a heavy No 2 grass with the markers near the inside, Ruakaka candidate REDCAYENNE got through the conditions well when coming in from the 1000m in a comfortable 1:8.3, running the last 600m in 39.5.

He has been in top form this campaign and will again be hard to beat in a handy line up in the ITM /Gib Whangarei Gold Cup this weekend.

CRAFTY JESS, the only runner from the Baker/Forsman stable heading north this weekend, left 1000m behind in 1:8, finishing off in 39.3.

SPRING BOUQUET was clocked the last 600m of work in 38.7.

PADRAIG could only be timed the final 400m of his gallop run in 29.4.

CUTADEEL and ENJOY THE SHOW matched strides from the 1000m in 1:6.4 and 38.3.

CHECKERS and SMART AS YOU THINK did well from the 1000m in 1:4.6, coming home from the 600m in 37.8.

Working on the No1 grass, also heavy, ENDLESS DRAMA worked in from the 600m in 42.9.
