NEW YORK MINUTE highlighted the Cambridge track work this morning, and will be at peak fitness for Saturday’s Powerworx Opunake Cup at New Plymouth this weekend, galloping 12 out on a heavy No 2 grass.

NEW YORK MINUTE handled the loose conditions nicely when working in from the 1,000 in 1:6.2, sprinting the final 600m in 39.

She has derived much benefit from her two runs back and will be at good odds in a strong line-up.

ALL PAID UP and HEY SOUL SISTER impressed from the 1,000 metres in 1:6.7, completing the final 600 m in 39.2.

HELIBERRY and ARABIAN GIFT left 1000m behind in 1:9.1, sprinting the final 600m in 39.3.

WOODEN EDGE, although not after time, looked in good order for this weekend when sent a comfortable 1,000, finishing off in 41.1.

CRAFTY JESS came to the end of 1,200m in 1:22.6, finishing off in 39.6

TIPICAL cut out 1,200m in an easy 1:28.4, completing the concluding 600 in 42.3.

MANHATTAN FLAME ran 400m in 29.1. INDIGENOUS UNION and BEAU JEU finished on terms after 1,200m, run in 1:23.1, coming home in 41.

SEEMAX was clocked from the 1,200 in 1:25, home in 40.9. RED BEACH and ELLE EYE ARE were paired over 1,200m, timed in 1:24.7, with the 600 run in 41.1.
