Track Work 30 July 2019

Rising three year old SCOTCH showed he could be in for a profitable campaign when working on the inside of a slow No 2 grass this morning.

Because many local horses competed at the Te Rapa trials yesterday, it was a quiet morning on the grass.

SCOTCH left the 1000m behind in 1:8.3, sprinting the last 600m in 38.3.

The Stephen Marsh trained I AM INVINCIBLE colt was travelling sweetly throughout, and was full of running at the post.

RHAEGAR and LONG JACK were paired over 1200m in 1:26.3, finishing off in 37.3. Impressive work by both, who also should be most competitive over the coming months.

BELLE TESTA galloped nicely over 1400m in 1:38.1, the concluding 600m in 38.6. AMASECOYA was timed from the 600m in 40.2.

BEAUTY STAR was in good form when timed the last 600m of work in 38.9. SCOMADI and CASANOVA left the 1000m behind at three quarter pace, quickening from the 600m in 39.2.

SOFT HEARTED and SUPERIOR GIRL were on terms over a smart 1000m in 1:4.2 and 38.

HENRY TUDOR cut out the final 600m of his gallop in 39.2.

EL FERNANDO, who travels to Christchurch tomorrow for the Winter Jumps Carnival, strode nicely over 1400m, completing the 1200m in 1:28.3 and the final 600m in 42.1.

THE MIDNIGHT SHIFT ran 1200m in 1.26, the 600m in 39.9. FAST AND FURIOUS came to the end of 1200m in 1:25.8, finishing off in 39.3.

SEEMAX was timed from the 600m in 40.
