HELENA BABY, the find of this year’s winter racing, showed he is at peak fitness for Saturday’s US Navy Flag Foxbridge Plate when galloping on the No 1 grass this morning.

Working on the outside of heavy ground, HELENA BABY was travelling sweetly at the completion of 1000m, the final 600m timed in 38.7. It will be his toughest assignment to date this weekend in a very strong field. However, he will be very hard to beat.

Working on the inside of the No 2 grass, CRAFTY JESS held an advantage over ELLE EYE ARE at the completion of a smart 1200m and 1.17, sprinting the final 600 in 35.6.

QUEEN OF DIAMONDS, preparing for Spring Racing, reeled off 600m in 37. CLEMENTINA was well held from the 1000m in 1.11, quickening over the final 600m in 38.2.

AMASTAR was in good form when completing 1000m in 1:6.1, the concluding 600 in 39.

BOBBY DAZZLER left 1200m behind in 1:26, the last 600 in 39.2. EASY WALKING ran the last 600 of 1200 in 40.2.

BELLE TESTA came in from the 600 in 38.7. OSAKA and SCOTCH worked together from the 600 in 39.3.

PENNY JANE and the SAVABEEL|RUSH ran 600m in 39.8. THEE OLD COUGAR left 600 behind in 40.7.

ZAPPEUR finished work off with 600 metres clocked at 39.2. HELIBERRY looked in good order when running the final 800 of 1200 in 52.1. SAMOON and BEAUTY STAR were together throughout 1000m, timed in 1:7.2, coming home in 38.8.

ATHENA BABY kept up a strong gallop from the 1200, run in 1:15.4, sprinting the last 600 in 35.6.

DRAKE BAY and HOLY LOCH ran 800 metres in 52.1. FLYINGWITHOUTWINGS did well from the 600 in 38.1, working on the No 4 grass, which was also heavy.

RONDINELLA, who will trial next week prior to heading for an Australian campaign, looked fit when travelling sweetly from the 1200 metres in 1:23.3, completing the final 600 in 40. CLOSE UP was sent 1000m in 1:6.8 and 38.1 and VIN DE DANCE left 800m behind in 54.
