MONGOLIAN MARSHAL and REGGIEWOOD look major chances at new Plymouth this weekend after impressive work this morning.

Galloping on the plough MONGOLIAN MARSHAL hit the line on even terms with TRUE ENOUGH at the end of 1200m, run in 1:18.9, sprinting home in 36.1. He looks well placed to win the Powerworx Taranaki Cup.

Easy last start winner REGGIEWOOD was also in good form from the 1400m in 1:36.7, the final 600m in 38.2. He has improved since Rotorua and will be tough to beat.

BONITA AURELIA who heads to New Plymouth to contest the Woburn Farm 2yo Classic, strode 1000m in 1.9, with the final 600m in 40.3. She finished close up at her only start and could be one for odds.

KABU, one of many locals entered for the 3yo fillies Fasttrack Insurance Oaks Prelude at New Plymouth, worked nicely over 1000m in 1.27, coming home in 39.7.

Stablemate and race rival BERGAMOT was in good form over 1200m in 1:23.3 and 37.5. DIAMONDS GALORE was let off with easy work over 1200m, completing the last 600m in 44.

DARCEE QUE left 1200m behind in 1.22 and 39.2. Stablemates and Fasttrack Insurance Oaks Prelude rivals AMAL ROSE and IN FASHION matched strides over 1:34.6, home in 36.5. Excellent work by both.

SHERRIF looked in good order when maintaining a good clip over 1200m in 1:17.3, the 600m in 36.6. ELATE left the 1000m behind in 1:9.3 and 39.8. Both start fresh up in the R82 Coca Cola 1400 at New Plymouth.

MONGOLIAN DYNASTY enhanced Matamata chances this Sunday with excellent work over 1000m in 1:5.3, dashing home in 35.8.

MARRONI and ENJOY THE SHOW ran 1000m in 1:7.8 and 38.5. DAM RELIABLE followed in 1.12, quickening in from the 600m in 37.1. ANJAMEME did well over 1200m in 1:19.4 and 36.3.

FLOMILINE came to the end of 1400m in 1:31.9, the 600m in 37.3. STAR TSAR was sent an easy 1200m in 1.28 and 42.5.

SNOWDEEL and COCO BACI ran 1000m in 1.7, home in 37.4. MONLULA returned 1.40 and 40.1 for 1400m.

LUCETTA came in from the 1200m in 1.28 and 41.
