Track Work 19 March 2020

Lightly raced filly BIRDSONG should keep her impressive form line going this weekend at Tauranga, after producing nice final work this morning.

Very few gallops took place on the plough. BIRDSONG was not after time when traveling well throughout 1200m, running the last 1000m in 1:9.2, the final 600m in 40.1.

VIN DE DANCE, who starts his fresh campaign at Tauranga, came to the end of 1400m in 1:36.7, the concluding 600m in 39.2. Although he will benefit with the run, the former Derby winner should race well.

Last start winner KIWIANNA looked fit when rounding off his preparation for Gate Par with an easy 600m in 43.2.

STARRYBEEL was sent 800m, the last 600m in 42.7. REGGIEWOOD left 1600m behind in 1:55.2, home in 41.5.

MISS HINCH ran 800m in 58, the final 600m in 42.9. ARETHA was in good form over 1000m in 1:8.3 and 39.4.

LORD SIBFORD and a PER INCANTO filly from the Baker/Forsman barn, matched strides over 1000m in 1:10.2, the final 600m in 40.

RONDINELLA, who has been racing below her best recently, looked in fantastic order when sent 1400m in 1:36.2, with the 600m in 38.3.

TWO ILLICIT ran 1600m in 1:52.4, coming home in 39.4. PACORUS came in from the 1000m in 1:10.5, finishing off in 42.8.
