Cambridge mare Bonniegirl will race in new ownership when she chases further black-type success in the Gr.3 Classic Cuisine Rotorua Stakes on Saturday week.

The five-year-old daughter of Darci Brahma was an impressive winner of the Listed New Zealand Bloodstock Finance Sprint when she resumed at Hastings last month.

She has subsequently been purchased from her original owner, the estate of the late Ian McCarrison, by prominent owner-breeder Sir Owen Glenn.

A half-sister to the Gr.3 Mr Tiz Trophy winner So Wotif, the Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman-trained Bonniegirl has won six of her 16 starts.
