Ardrossan, pictured winning on debut at Pukekohe, is set to carry on his successful way tomorrow.

Stephen Marsh is understandably bullish about another black-type win for the stable when Ardrossan runs in the Listed Waikato Equine Veterinary Centre Stakes at Te Rapa tomorrow.

“He’s great. His final gallop on Wednesday couldn’t be faulted,” said the Cambridge trainer.

“He’s a very exciting horse and I would be disappointed if he got beaten.”

A son of Redoute’s Choice, the colt was an impressive debut winner last month at Pukekohe Park where he easily accounted for the subsequent winner So Far Sokool.

Ardrossan’s Te Rapa appearance will be his final New Zealand start before joining Mick Price’s Caulfield stable.
