Australian Oaks winner Sofia Rosa could have Melbourne Cup winner Prince Of Penzance and Australian Derby winner Tavago as rivals when she resumes in Saturday’s Gr. 1 New Zealand Bloodstock Memsie Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield.

The Stephen Marsh-trained mare is one of seven Group One winners entered for the Memsie Stakes, which has attracted 18 nominations.

Among the other entries are dual Group One winner Tarzino, Gr. 1 Australian Oaks winner Rising Romance and Gr. 1 Goodwood winner Black Heart Bart.

Melbourne-based Kiwi jockey Michael Walker will ride Sofia Rosa for Wellington owner Lib Petagna.
