Unbeaten gelding, WOODEN EDGE returned impressive work when galloping on a slow number two grass at Cambridge this morning.

WOODEN EDGE, who races at New Plymouth this weekend and stable mate SUPERARE worked in from the 1000 in 1:06.4, sprinting the final 600 in 37.8.

Fog interrupted the timing of several gallops. BUFFALO LASS was clocked from the 600 in 39.8.

PACORUS, who will attempt a hat trick of wins at New Plymouth, worked well alongside ROC DE BANK, the third of the Chris Wood trained runners racing at New Plymouth, over 800 in 54.7.

WHITNEY was sent 1200, completing the final 600 in 40. Working on the sand, SAN MIGUEL looked fit for New Plymouth when completing the last 600 of work in 42.

ARZAK left 1000 behind in 1:09, coming home in 41. HOWLAND cruised 1000 in 1:12, the final 600 in 41.7.

AMAZING LADY cut out 1000 in 1:11.3 and home in 42. BONNIE GREY returned 1:11.7 and 41.6.

DOUBTLESS BAY and LADY FENUALA were timed from the 1000 in 1:12, the last 600 in 43. HAUTE COUTURE and RUBY RED DRESS followed with similar work.
