A thick fog prevented the timing of most gallops at Cambridge this morning.

Working on the plough, Vodafone New Zealand Derby candidates CAMINO ROCOSO and MONGOLIAN WOLF strode 1200m together comfortably in 1:22.4.

JON SNOW and HIGHLAD, another pair from the Baker/Forsman stable in Saturday’s Vodafone New Zealand Derby, were relaxed throughout 1200m, run in 1:21.5 with the final 600m in 39.8.

MONGOLIAN LEGEND, the fifth of the Baker/Forsman Vodafone New Zealand Derby contenders, completed 1200m with stable mate SPROCKET in 1:23.1 coming home in 39.1.

CHENILLE could not be timed over 800m but was traveling well at the line. ZACADA came to the end of 1200m in 1:19.7.

SACRED RHYTHM ran the last 600m of 800m in 40.2.

FRANCALETTA, who begins a fresh campaign over 1400m at Ellerslie this weekend ran 1200m in 1:22.

LIZZIE L’AMOUR and ELEONORA worked separately over 1200m but no time could be taken.
HONEY RIDER and SARACINO were sent 1000m running the final section in 39.3.

TYPICAL and BITTERSWEET were together at the completion of 1000m.
