Track Work 25 June 2020

ARATAI and BOUND TO BE HONOURED returned the fastest gallop when working on the inside of a dead No 2 grass this morning.

On a quiet morning ARATIA and BOUNDTOBEHONOURED matched strides over 1000m in a smart 1:3.5, sprinting the final 600m in 37.1. The Tony Pike trained stablemates were both full of running at the finish. They are likely to race at the Te Rapa meeting Saturday week.

CYBER ATTACK worked in nicely by himself from the 1000m in 1:6, the concluding 600m in 38.2.

MR FOX and DARK HORSE were in good form when timed from the 600m in 37.9.   WALKIN’ BY maintained a strong gallop from the 1000m, clocked in 1:4.1, finishing off in 37.9.

UNITION and SUFFUSED, who both look to have bright futures, were on terms at the end of an easy 400m in 27.8.  LADY LIRA left 1000m behind in 1:5 and 38.1.  RED BEACH came to the end of 1000m in 1.4.2, the final 600m in 37.3.

TRUE ENOUGH was the only horse to gallop on the No 4 grass.  He was not fully extended when sent 800m, running the final 600m in 41.1. He looks in excellent order and is expected to race at the Te Rapa meeting.

On the sand SPECIAL INTEREST was timed from the 1000m in 1:7, the 600m in 39.9.  DECLARADA and PRINCESS ORIGAMI ran the final 400m of 500m in 41.8.
