GATA looks ready to notch up her first win this weekend after returning another good gallop at Cambridge this weekend.

Working on the outside of a heavy number two grass, GATA, who races in the Rural Fuel Two Year Old over 1200m at Awapuni this weekend, shaded stable mate CRAFTYEVA at the completion of 1000 in 1:07.9, sprinting the final 600 in 39.2.

PRINCESS NICOLE and BUFFALO LASS worked well together from the 1000 in 1:06.8, finishing off in 39.5.

HONKIETONK TIGER left 1000 behind in 1:10.7, coming home in 41.

Working on the sand, SARACINO and GET THAT JIVE, who are preparing for Spring racing, were paired over a comfortable 600 in 44.2.

EVA GODIVA and MIME left 600 behind in 43.7. KING FELIPE and a HIGH CHAPARRAL Gelding and a PER INCANTO Gelding from the Baker/Forsman stable, returned 44.6 for the 600.

Last start winners and stable mates, PACORUS and WOODEN EDGE appeared comfortable throughout 1000 in 1:15, the 600 in 42.

LUNA ROSSA and BONNEVAL ran 600 in 44.3. ELEONORA followed in 43.7. LEARNING TO FLY cut out 600 in 43.2.
