Last start winners Sharakti and Diamond Edge worked well together on the outside of a heavy No.2 Grass at Cambridge today

Sharakti (German) and Diamond Edge (Murphy) were on terms throughout 1000m in 1:7.2, sprinting the final 600m in 38.3.   Both Ruakaka acceptors were travelling strongly at the finish.

Marguerita Times (Gatu) did her Whangarei prospects no harm when completing 1200m in 1:23, finishing off in 39.3.   Brompton (Cameron) did well over 1000m in 1:6.6, the final 600m in 38.4.  Goginga (Gillies) was sent 1400m, the last 1200m in 1:21.7 and the final 600m in 41.1.  Romeo Whisky (Murphy) left 1200m behind in 1:23, the final section in 40.6.

Working on the sand Aston Martin (McIlroy), who will appreciate anticipated improved track conditions at Ruakaka, was let off with a comfortable 1000m in 1:15.7, the 600m in 45.1.  Snave (German), who has been in good form lately, worked nicely over 800m with a Fully Fledged gelding (Roustoby) in 54.   Dancers Tale (Murphy) reeled off 600m in 39.7.
