More Than Sacred completed her final work out for the Waikato Times Gold Cup in fine style at Cambridge this morning

Galloping on the plough, More Than Sacred (Smith) was not extended when covering 1000m in 1:10, the last 600m in 40.1.  She has thrived since her last start winning performance and should be most competitive on Saturday.

Lady Kipling (Satherley) came in nicely from the 1000m in 1:8.4, finishing off in 40.3.   Te Rapa candidates Zurella (Mickey) and Goldminer (Cheong) were on terms throughout 1200m in an easy 1:26, the concluding 600m in 39.9.   Sacred Star (Ormsby) was timed from the 600m in 38.7.   Elusive Gold (Legg) reeled off 600m in 39.2.   Show The World (Waddell) was sent 1000m in 1:7, coming home in 39.   

Waterford (Ormsby) completed a comfortable 1000m in 1:9.9 and 41.2 for the final 600m.  Chintz (Pedro), a form runner at Te Rapa this weekend, looked at peak fitness when sprinting 600m in 39.2.   Cashmere (Dalley) and Sakology (Macfarlane) were paired over 1000m in 1:12 and 40.2.   Shining Armour (O’Shea) left 800m behind in 58.   Miss Foxwood (Macfarlane) came to the end of 1200m in 1:20.7, the concluding 600m in 39.6.  Civics Rock (Sarah) sprinted a smart 600m in 37.4.   Divine Star (Dalley) was sent 1200m in 1:23, finishing off in 39.9.  

Sonic Rocket (Browne) was given a comfortable 800m in 58.7.   Sir Manawa (E Browne) was clocked from the 600m in 42.6.   Spinmyworld (Macfarlane) left 1200m behind at three quarter pace, quickening from the 600m in 40.2.   Good Will (Carter) sprinted 400m in 27.5. Rangi Mac (Gatu) and Stamen (Orla) matched strides from the 800m in 55.  And RUReady (Gatu) worked in from the 600m in 39.

Galloping on the No.1 Grass, Waikato Cup topweight Guns at Five (Gatu) worked in freely from the 800m in 48.1.  Storming the Tower (White) started at three quarter pace from the 1000m and dashed the concluding 600m in 35.6.
