Artemis worked nicely at Cambridge this morning when preparing for racing at Ruakaka this weekend

 Galloping on a slow No.2 grass Artemis (Collins) was sent 1200m in 1:21.9.  She was joined by stablemate Jack’s Run (Dally) from the 1000m, run in 1:7, the last 600m in 40.

 Hamacho (Harley) and Hollywood Angel (Cuneen) worked in from the 1000m in 1:5 sprinting the 600m in 38.3.     Hollywood Angel looks in good order to begin a fresh campaign at Ruakaka.   Zabreeze (Browne) strode 1000m in 1:11, finishing off in 38.9.   Dancing Embers (Mirabelli) ran the last 600m of her work in 39.2.   Platinum Passion (Allen) was sent 1400m in 1:34, the concluding section in 39.3.   Ishma (Orting) and a Lohnro filly (Harley) matched strides from the 1000m in 1:6.1, the last 600m in a smart 37.4.   

 Working on the sand Touch Ahead (Norvall) was given a comfortable 800m at three quarter pace, quickening up in the straight.    Duchessofcambridge (Jonty) and Perfection (Dally) were given a similar task.     Dundeal (Murphy) and a Savabeel gelding (Orting) ran 600m in 38.9.   Winsome Hawk (Orting) was clocked from the 600m in 39.3.   He’s Remarkable (Dally), who is pleasing trainer Roger James, ran in easily from the 800m in 58.   Lady Chaparral (Hughes) looked ready to show her best form at Ruakaka when covering 800m in 51, the 600m in 37.2.   Stablemate and race rival Master Power (Hills) also worked well from the 800m in 52.1, the 600m in 37.6.

Marguerita Time (Gatu) and Empathy (Cully) left 1200m behind in 1:21, the final 600m in 37.5.

Trentham – track tip – Brompton – fitter for two runs since spell and working well
