Kentucky Son followed encouraging Tuesday work with another smart gallop this morning

Galloping 18m out on a heavy No.2 Grass, Kentucky Son sprinted 600m in 36.9sec. He looks to be a leading chance at Te Rapa this weekend.

Gustavo held a slight advantage over stablemate Harry at the completion of 1000m in 1:08, sprinting the final 600m in 38.4. Gustavo looks set to continue his impressive track record at Te Rapa this weekend.

Dennis Denuto, who threw his winning chances away at Te Rapa last start worked well alongside stablemate Elusive Gold from the 1000m in 1:06.6, finishing off in 38.3sec. Both look good chances at Te Rapa this weekend.

Aaja Nachle and Bachelor Zeel completed the final 600m of 1000m in 39.8. Hollywood Lad strode comfortably from the 1000m in 1:12 and 42sec. Aaronmore left 1400m behind in 1:40.5, the concluding section in 41sec. Impressive debut winner Steadfast was clocked from the 600m in 40.7. Kelly O’Reilly cut out 1000m in 1:10 and home in 40.9sec.

Royal Sceptre came to the end of 1000m in 1:08.9, finishing off in 39.1. Magna Carta travelled easily from the 1200m at 3/4 pace, sprinting the last 400m in 26.8 sec.
