Counties Cup candidates Decorah and Gesemi capped off their preparation with nice work
at Cambridge this morning

Galloping on the outside of a good no.1 grass, Decorah and Gesemi completed 1000m in 1:06.2, sprinting the final 600 in 36.9. Decorah held a slight advantage at the line.

Old Farm Road who races in the Murdoch Newell Stakes at Avondale this weekend impressed when working 600m with a Lohnro Gelding in 35.9. Storming The Tower strode comfortably from the 1000m in 1:10, finishing off in 38.9. Salford Art who ran an encouraging second fresh up at Dargaville, was most impressive when working over 1000m in 1:03, dashing the final 600 in 35.9.

The Tidy Express did her Counties Cup chances no harm when completing 1200m in 1:23, finishing off in 39.5. Race rival and stable mate Delargo’s Secret followed with similar work.

Kelly O’Reilly was in good form when sprinting 600m in 36.9. Sacred Star came in nicely from the 1000m in 1:09 and the final 600 in 38.9.

Galloping on the sand, Bowie, who looks a top chance at Avondale, completed a comfortable 800m in 53.1. Show The World ran 1000m in 1:07 and home in 40. Sakhee’s Soldier completed 1000m in 1:08, the 600 in 41. Charmont who ran an encouraging third fresh up, was clocked from the 600m in 39.3.
