Gesemi looks ready to extend her winning form at Ellerslie this Saturday after excellent final work at Cambridge this morning

Galloping on the outside of a heavy no.2 grass, Gesemi held a slight advantage over stable mate and race rival Chill Bill at the completion of 1200m in 1:23, the final 600m in 39.1sec.

Khemosabi looked in peak fitness for Saturday’s interprovincial at New Plymouth when timed from the 1000m in 1:05.7, the concluding section in 39.6sec. Magna Carta, who gained a well deserved hurdle victory last start, worked comfortably alongside Ngatira Gold over 1200m, the last 1000m in 1:15 and the 600m in 43.3sec. Both race at Ellerslie this weekend. Arzak and Mistaar galloped nicely together from the 1000m in 1:09.4, finishing off in 39.2sec.

Dentele followed with an easy 1000m in 1:13 and home in 42sec. Sacred Master was clocked from the 1200m in 1:29, the final 600m in 43.7sec. Aaja Nachle, who will appreciate the drop in class from last start, came in nicely from the 600m in40.9 sec. Moontide completed 1000m in 1:07.6, the 600m 39.4sec. Dark Art ran 600m in 41.6sec.
