Harmonize completed her preparation for Te Aroha with satisfactory work at Cambridge today
Galloping on the Plough, Harmonize (Norvall) strode easily from the 1200m in 1:21.1, increasing pace from the 600m in 39.7. She ran an encouraging second at her most recent start and could go one better this weekend.
Chintz (Smith), a favoured contender for the New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes, was given a comfortable 1000m, the final 600m in 43. She looks at peak fitness for Saturday’s feature.
Saavoya (Satherley) and Roctober (Anderton) were on terms throughout 1000m in 1:7.7, finishing off in 39. Matagouri (Orting), who begins a fresh campaign at Te Aroha, ran 1000m in 1:8.7, coming home in 39.6. Zonza (Macfarlane) left 1200m behind in 1:25 and 42.
Enjay (Hills) worked over 1200m in 1:24 and 40 for the final 600m. Orion (Jago) was timed from the 1000m in 1:8, the 600m in 38.6. Honeymoon (Hills) was sent 1000m in 1:9, the concluding 600m in 43.
Little Alfie Brown (Satherley), worked in nicely from the 600m in 39.4. Open ‘N Shut (Gatu) came to the end of 1000m in 1:8 and 40.6. Hollywood Lad (Hills) and Kaap’s Joy (Norvall) matched strides from the 1000m in 1:12.2 and 42. Absolutely Sacred (Donoghue) was timed from the 600m in 39.6. Sakhee’s Soldier (Legg) covered 1000m, in 1:8.3 and 39.
Ambitious Hero (Legg) and Neo (Orting) was sent 1200m in 1:19.3, finishing off in 38.6. Horse Warrior (Jago) ran the last 600m of 1200m in 38.7. Monira (Jago) cruised 1000m in 1:15, the concluding 600m in 44. Rebound (Orting), ran 800m in 56. And She’s All Heart (Gatu) came to the end of a solid 1000m in 1:3.7 and 36.7.
