New Zealand Cup favourite Blizzard will reach Saturday’s feature at peak fitness following an impressive workout at Cambridge today

Galloping on a good No.1 Grass, Blizzard (Browne) maintained a solid clip from the 1000m in 1:4.8, sprinting the final 600m in 36.

Last start winner, Tinder (Johnson) from the in form Marsh stable, worked nicely alongside stablemate The Old Floozie (Tatts), coming in from the 600m in 38.2.

Galloping on the Plough, Gustavo (Satherley) and Brah Spring (Jago) were in top form when working in from the 1000m in 1:6.2, coming home in 36.8.   Polish (Waddell) cut out 800m in 53.1 and 38.

Avisto (Colgan) and The Austrian Oak (Norvall) were travelling strongly at the completion of 1200m in 1:18.1, sprinting the final 600m in 37.7.   Impassive (Young) and Smart Encosta (Forbes) did well over 1000m in 1:5.3 and 37.2.   Diademe (Satherley) came to the end of 1000m in 1:9, coming home in 39.7.   Paid Priority (Tatts) left 1000m behind in a comfortable 1:10 and 39.

Sacred Wins (Waddell) was sent 1400m in 1:36.7 and home in 37.8.   Hot In Pink (medium weight) cut out 1000m in 1:8.5, the last 600m in 38.   Gin Swing (Pedro) returned 41 for 600m.   Louder (Waddell) followed with similar work.   Imperial Duke (Harrison) came to the end of 1200m in 1.22.2, coming home in 38.1. Kisses (Staples) and Love A Song (McIllroy) strode in easily from the 1000m in 1:12.4 and 41.7.

Polka (Colgan) ran an easy 800m in 57.   Bellbird (Pedro) did well to sprint 6000m in 37.3.     Harbour Alert (Crawford) and St Moet (Kuru) were timed the last 600m of work in 41.6.   Chip and Chase (Tatts) ran the last 600m of 800m in 42. Smash Hit (Johnson), Money Box (Warren) and Social Kay (Karina) returned 41.7 for 600m.  Magic Moments (Lawson) cruised 1000m in 1:11.6 and 42. Shellford (Harrison) sprinted 600m in 39.4.

Galloping on a good No.2 Grass, Its Bianca (Collett) ran a solid 1200m in 1:15.3, sprinting the last 600m in 36.6.
