Vonusti and Good Will returned the quickest time during a very quiet session at Cambridge today.

Galloping wide out on a heavy No.2 grass Vonusti (Carter), who leaves tonight on a Queensland campaign, worked sweetly alongside Good Will (Gillies) over 800m, sprinting the final 600m in 38.7. D’Colletage (Gately) and Storming the Tower (Doyle) matched strides from the 1400m, the last 1200m run in 1:27 and the last 600m in 41.2.

Hurricane Mickey (Roustoby) and Chill Bill (Orting) looked fit for Ellerslie this weekend when completing 1000m in 1:9.4, the concluding 600m in 40.1. Taking the Mickey (Donoghue) followed in 1:9.2 and 39.4. St Challen (Collett) and Emerald Green (McNab) cut out 1000m in 1:9.3, finishing off in 40.2.

Working on a firm sand Swami (Roustoby) and Blue Nile (Emma) worked well together over 600m in 37.2. Irish Jewel (Nicholson) was sent 1200m in 1:22.1, the last 600m in 39.7. Colorado Sun (Crawford) came to the end of 600m in 41. The Missing Link (Moki) ran two rounds of strong pacework and Royal Sceptre (Woods) covered the last 600m of 1000m in a comfortable 44.3.
