Aaja Nachle returned encouraging work at Cambridge today

Galloping 10 metres out on a heavy No.2 Grass, Aaja Nachle (Murray) travelled effortlessly from the 1000m in 1:9 quickening from the 600m in 37.8.   The ultra-consistent mare looks certain to continue her top form.

Vinnie Eagle (Ormsby) was another to impress when coming in from the 600m in 38.9. Kelly O’Reilly (Pedro) and Whoopsi (Ormsby) worked well together from the 1000m in 1:11.7, finishing off in 38.6. Pink Diamond (Browne) cut out 1000m in 1:9.3 and 39.8.

Working on the sand, Orbity (Legg) was not fully extended when running 600m in 41. Palace Secret (Hills) and Zeus (Macfarlane) left 1000m behind at three-quarter pace. They increased speed from the 600m in 40.1. Zeldara (Legg) returned 41.7 for 600m.   Lady Sol (Roustoby) followed with similar work.   Itsonlymakebelieve (Macfarlane) was sent 1200m, the last 1000m in 1:11, the last 600m in 41.

Royal Sceptre (Bradley) and Thewayyouare (Rattley) ran the last 600m of their work in 41.7.   Howland (Dalley) and Affraditi (Norvall) left 1000m behind at three-quarter pace, increasing speed from the 600m in 40.2.   Avisto (Macfarlane) ran 1000m in 1:8.4 and 40.4. Show the World (Orting) and a Swiss Ace gelding (Roustoby) returned 42 for 600m.   Stars in Align (McQuarters) ran an easy 600m in 45. Sakhee’s Soldier (Legg) sprinted 800m in 51.4.

Bingo, Chip’n Chase, Cursive, Liten Priassa and Sardaaj, from the Marsh stable, were all given 600m work at three-quarter pace.
