Zurella looked fit for immediate engagements when galloping on a dead No.1 grass at Cambridge this morning

Zurella (Mickey) worked sweetly alongside Forgive No Forget (Jago) from the 800m in 49.9, dashing the final 600m in 35.7. She is in excellent order. Diademe (German) and Usanity (Hutton) drew attention to their weekend prospects when covering 1000m together in 1:3.3, the concluding section in 37. Sum Up (Norvall) worked in nicely from the 1000m in 1:6.4, the 600m in 38.

Ruud Awakening (Lars), who is set to start in Sydney in two weeks’ time, was sent a comfortable 800m in 57, quickening from the 600m in 40.4.

Sangster, who is also to embark on a Sydney campaign, worked 1200m on Monday morning with stablemate Due North in 1:23.2, the concluding 600m in 38.

Galloping on the No.2 grass Pussy O’Reilly (Nicholson) was in good form when covering 1000m in a smart 1:3.5, finishing off in 37. Little Alfie Brown (Satherley) travelled nicely throughout his gallop, being timed over the last 600m in 38.4. He is coming to hand well.

Neo (Orting) and Mistaar (Walsh) matched strides from the 1200m in 1:19, the last 600m in 37.6. Veldt (Hutton) strode 1200m in 1:24, the last 6000m in 40. Open ‘n Shut (Gatu) reeled off 800m in 50.2. Arcenciel (Seguin) came to the end of 1200m in 1:16.4, the last 600m in 38.

Guns at Five (Dalley) completed 1200m in 1:21.4 and 38.2. Carrick (Ormsby) left 1000m behind in 1:4.9, the 600m in 39. Swami (Walsh) and Big Rocket (Orting) were on terms throughout 1000, in 1:4.4, finishing off in 37. Little Rocket (medium weight) and Power Trip (Cropp) kept up a good clip from the 1000m in 1:3.8, coming home in 37.4. Lady Chaparral (Gatu) and Handsome Mates (Johnson) were paired over 1000m in 1:3, the last 600m in 37.1.
