Track Work – Tuesday, 20 March

Doctor Fremantle galloped freely on a dead No. 3 grass at Cambridge today. 

Doctor Fremantle (Brennan) was travelling sweetly at the end of 1000m, the final 600m in 37.   He is in good order for pending engagements.

Poised (Dally) and Misstrim (McShane) were timed from the 600m in 36.7.    Peace Lily (Macfarlane) strode 2000m, the last 600m in 42.7.   

New Zealand Derby winner Silent Achiever (Dally) worked in comfortably from the 600m in 41.1.   Tale to Tell (Browne), a last-start winner, looked in great order when working over 600m in 38.3.   Taking the Mickey (Donoghue) ran the last 600m of 100m in 39.1.

Savanah Dancer (Tata) followed with similar work.   Spin My World (Norvall), Insurgent (McShane) and Full of Spirit (Macfarlane) finished on terms  at the completion of 1000m, the last 600m in 39.6.   Showcause (Ivil) was clocked over the last 600m of 1400m in 42.   Pelegrini (German) returned 38.8 for 600m.   Fast Love (Houston) and Jeu de Cartes (Orting) were sent 1200m, the last 600m in 38.3.  

Vonusti (Carter), who ran an improved race at its most recent start, came in from the 600m in 37.9.    Crangie Star (medium weight) ran 600m in 39.7.  Arcenceil (Seguin) impressed when running the last 600m of 800m in 37.  

Injured jockey Rogan Norvall is making steady progress and is riding track work.   He is hoping to resume at the Te Awamutu trials on March 22.
