Track Work – Tuesday, 30 April 2013

Artistic and Military Move returned excellent work on a morning when fog prevented the timing of most sectionals at Cambridge today.

Galloping 15 metres out on a dead No.2 grass Artistic (Mickey) and Military Move (Jago) maintained a solid pace over 1200m in 1:16.6. Both were travelling strongly at the finish.

The Tidy Express (Macfarlane) and Elure (Cuneen) worked well together over 1200m in 1:18.4. Zonza (Dalley) and C’est Magnifique (Reid) were paired over 1400m in 1:34.4. Neo (Hutton) and Codema (Burgess) worked away from the 1200m in 1:21. Alasandra (Cropp) and Wairaka (McGorrian) returned 1:21 for 1200m.

The Final Round (Forbes) and Recession Proof (Cribbin) followed with similar work. Carolina Island (Hutton) and Constellation (German) completed 1000m in 1:7 and The Final Straw (O’Shea) left 1000m behind in 1:9.

Sarteaguin (Brennan) ran 800m but could not be timed. Similar work was done by Diademe, Veldt and Absolutely Sacred.
