Trackwork – Thursday, 12th January 2017

Very few gallops could be timed at Cambridge, due to thick fog

Galloping on the plough, Charcha, who is entered for Trentham this weekend followed impressive Tuesday work with a nice gallop over 800, completing the final 600 in 39.5.

Jon Snow and Highland Park, who are also Trentham bound, looked in good order when completing the final 600 of 1000 in 39. Jon Snow looks a top prospect for the Group One Levin Classic but will need to overcome a wide draw.

Mongolian Legend and Blue Wagon ran 1000 in 1:08.8 and 39.3. Craftyeva was timed from the 600 in 40.7. Sheridan ran the last 600 of work in 39.6. Twinkles could not be timed over 1400 but ran the last 400 in 27.3. Downton Abbey followed with similar work. Wooden Red and Feroz came in from the 600 in 40.
