Trackwork – Thursday, 6th August 2015

Dentelle handled the loose conditions nicely when preparing for Tauranga this weekend at Cambridge today.

Galloping on a heavy number three grass, where very few gallops took place, last start winner Dentele was timed from the 1000m in 1:12.3, completing the final 600m in 43.1. She has run a placing at Gate Pa previously and should be hard to beat this weekend. Arzak, another winner at his most recent start, appeared comfortable in the conditions when covering 1200m in 1:28.1, finishing off in 43.4. Silver Minx, another Tauranga accepter, worked over one round, the final 1200m in 1:29.7, with the last 600m clocked in 44sec. Lady Saayida returned 1:29 for 1200m, finishing off in 44.3 and Sonic Jet followed and ran the last 600m of work in 44.6sec.

Galloping on the number four grass, Turn Me Loose and Dal Cielo matched strides over 1000m in 1:14.3, finishing off in 41.8sec. Mongolian Khan and Maygrove matched strides from the 1000m in 1:13.5, coming home in 42.3sec.  All four class gallopers from the Baker/Forsman stable are in excellent order for Spring Racing.
