The Tilbury returned the quickest gallop at Cambridge this morning.

Working on the outside of a heavy number two grass, The Tilbury worked well over 800m, running the 600m in 42sec. He looks above average. Nahema, who is coming to hand well for a new campaign, worked in nicely from the 600m in 42.8. Aurora Lights was timed from the 600m in 42.5sec. La Grove and Bon Choi were paired over 1000m in 1:12.2 and 42.4sec. Saint Emillion and Mime worked nicely together over 1000m in 1:13, coming home in 43.3sec.

The Arch Duke and a Bachelor Duke gelding from Frank Richie’s stable matched strides from the 600m in 42.6sec. Sacred Master was clocked from the 600m in 44sec, Maid Of Steel followed in 43.8sec. Smart gallopers, Rocanto and Billy Mojo finished on terms after 800m, the last 600m in 43.6sec. El Desparo was given an easy task over 1000m in 1:16 and 46.1sec. Desert Express cut out 1000m in 1:12, coming home in 43.8 sec. Serious Satire came to the end of 600m in 43sec.

Galloping on the sand, Bonniegirl was sent 800m in 54.3.  Ambitious Pins and Massa Lu cut out 800m in 54.9.  Calibrate and Mongolian Empire returned 54.7 sec for 800m.  Extra Belt and Inner Stride followed in 55.2 sec.  Miss Foxwood was timed from the 600m in 41.9sec.
