MOONLIGHT MAGIC, one of eight locals entered in Saturday’s G3 Trelawney Stud Championship Stakes at Ellerslie left little doubt about her fitness this morning.

MOONLIGHT MAGIC left the 1200m at three quarter pace, quickening over the last 600m in 37.9. She has been in consistent form and now looks to have peeked for the 2100m 3yo feature.

Star Way Stakes favourite LOVE POEM worked quietly prior to a nice breeze up down the straight.

She has been placed in strong fields at her only two starts and has benefited from a recent trial win. 

DEVASTATE and WHITE NOISE, who both race in Saturday's Easter Handicap, left 1000m behind in 1.8.8 the concluding 600m in 38.6.

PROVENCE prepared for Saturday’s Easter Handicap with comfortable work over 800m, the final 600m in 43.1.

JUST ONE was kept under a strong hold from the 800m the last 600m in 42.1.

SAINT BATHENS rounded his Easter Handicap preparation with an encouraging gallop over 1000m run in 1.7.3, sprinting the final 600m in 36.8.

LERADO was sent an easy 600m in 42.3.

MISS MARTINI cut 600m out in 41.

RUSSIAN SATIRE completed 1000m in 1.9, home in 38.

THE PATRON SAINT looked fit when clocked over 1200m in 1.22.2 and 38.3.

ETHEREAL STAR, another Ellerslie candidate with strong winning claims came the concluding 600m of 1000m in 38.7.

REBECCHI returned 39.1 from the 600m. 

MAGNA MEMORY was timed from the 600m in 41.

FIRST INNINGS ran 1000m in 1.7.8 and 37.4.

MR MOJO RISIN' followed in 1.8.3 and 38.

ARMINO ran 1200m in 1.24 home in 40.

INVESTIGATE did his Ellerslie chances no harm when completing a comfortable 1200m running the last 600m in 41.8. He ran a beauty in the Oaks and victory in this weekend's Trelawney Stud Stakes would not surprise. 

NORTHEASTERLY who has been placed in both starts to date completed 1200m in 1.22.1 the concluding 600m in 38 8. He could be one for odds in Saturday’s 3yo 2100m G3.

Debut winner BOSS IN HIGH HEELS, who will take her place in the Star Way Stakes strode 600m in 43.

RUDYARD was sent 1000m coming from the 600m in 39.

LANIKAI ran the concluding 600m of an easy 1200m in 42.6. 

NOT GUILTY was timed from the 600m in 41.9.

WIND OF CHANGE followed in 43.

ROEDERER strode 1200m the last 600m in 43.1.

DIMAGGIO did similar work.

HASSTOBEAWINNER was not extended throughout 800m running the final 600m in 44.

CANNON HILL and WIND RUSH were on terms throughout 1000m, sprinting the concluding 600m in 38.5,
