Track Work 15 April 2021

TURN THE ACE and ANDUIN, who both race at Te Rapa this weekend, worked well with stable-mate SHEZDELICIOUS this morning.

On the all-weather track, when fog interrupted the timing of several gallops, TURN THE ACE, ANDUIN and SHEZDELICIOUS were kept together over 1000m in 1:9.3, sprinting the final 600m in 39.1.

TURN THE ACE, who will debut in the two year old and has won two recent trials, looks above average but will have the disadvantage of an outside barrier.

MARRONI, another Baker/Forsman runner to cop a wide ally at Te Rapa, worked in nicely with OUR MODENA from the 1000m in 1:8.6, home in 39.

TWO ILLICIT could not be timed, but hit the line full of running. She should race well but may need the run.

KASHFLO was timed over 1400m in 1:36.6, the final 600m in 39.1.  ROCCIA left 1400m behind in 1.44 and 39.2   ENCANTADOR cut out 1000m in 1.10, home in 39.2.

CRAFTY JESS looked fit for Te Rapa when completing 1000m in 1.7 and 38.3.

LUBAYA came to the end of 1200m in 1:22.3, the concluding 600m in 38.7.  SPRING DELIGHT and BOBBY DEE were together throughout 1200m in 1:21.3 and 39.

JOY ALONE and DAQIANSWEET JUNIOR were sent 1200m, clocked in 1:19.6, the last 600m in 38.5.

CONTEMPLATION ran 1400m in 1.39.  ASPIRING was timed 600m in 40.5.  APPELLANT ran the last 600m of 800m in 41.1.

SHE SPEEDS and OSO SAVVY returned 41.3 for 600m.  ROYAL ROC cut out 600m in 40.9.

KIWIANNA ran the final 600m of 1200m in 41.8.  STARRYBEEL was sent an easy 1000m, the last 600m in 41.9.
