Track Work – Thursday, 10th April 2014

Easter Handicap candidate Zonza galloped freely in training at Cambridge today.

Because of the local trials meeting later in the day few gallops took place.

Zonza (Macfarlane) strode 1400m in 1:36.1, completing the final 600m in 38.3.  She should continue her consistent run of form in Saturday’s feature.  Race rival Chintz (Teixeira) was given an easy task when covering 600m in 46.  The Tidy Express (Hills) hit out nicely over 1400m in 1:36.9, finishing off in 39.

Orbity (Orash) came to the end of 1000m in 1:9.8, sprinting in from the 600m in 37.3.  She looks well and any rain will improve her chances at Ellerslie this weekend.  Neo (Orting) and Decorah (Jago) matched strides from the 1000m in 1:10, the 600m in 39.

Galloping on the sand, Sakology (Macfarlane) and Readywhenyouare (Hills) was timed from the 600m in 40.7.  Ces’t Magnifique (Norvall) followed in 41.  Night Shift (Norvall) and Overtime (Satherley) left 1000m behind in 1:13 and 42.  Galago (Hills) and Ruby Tuesday (Norvall) ran an easy 800m in 58.
