Track Work – Thursday, 11th October

Thunderbird One drew attention to his Matamata weekend prospects with a nice gallop on a good plough at Cambridge this morning.

A thick fog prevented the timing of nearly all gallops. Thunderbird One (Roustoby) was kept under a tight rein from the 1000m , increasing speed over the final 600m in 41.7. He looks in first class order.

Neo (Hutton) and Sharakti (Orting) were on terms throughout 800m in 54.7. The Terminator (Calder) worked over 1400m at three quarter pace, quickening from the 600m in 40. Lost World (Roustoby) ran 1000m in 1:12, the last 600m in 42.

Macorla (Hutton) and Catalan King (German) could not be timed but were travelling sweetly at the end of 1000m. Lady Chapparal (Hughes) sprinted 600m in 39.9 and R U Ready (Gatu) completed 600m in 41.
