Pump Up The Volume and Old Drumble were Ellerslie acceptors to gallop well during a quiet session at Cambridge today

Fog interrupted the timing of some gallops.      

Galloping 20 metres out on a heavy No.2 Grass Pump Up The Volume (Cropp) and Old Drumble (Macfarlane) were on terms throughout 1400m in 1:36.8, completing the final 600m in 40.   Both are in good form and look strong chances this weekend.

Chill Bill (Roustoby) and Mackadoo (Hutton) left 1000m behind in 1:10.4, the concluding 600m in 40.9.   Last start winner Perfect Flow (Young) worked in from the 1000m in 1:13.2, the last 600m in 41.6.

Excites (Farr) and El Gitano (Thornton) strode 1000m in 1:14.7, the 600m in 44.6.   Neo (Burgess) cut out 1000m in 1:11.1, the 600m in 41.1.   Taking the Mickey (Teixeira) came to the end of 800m in 52.   Handsome Mates (Gatu) completed 1200m in 1.22.2 and 39.4.   Ginga Ninja (Foote) and Cornelius (Kim) were clocked from the 600m in 42.2.   Itsallme (Barkla) ran the last 600m of 1200m in 41.   Madam Twiggy (Cuneen) ran the last 600m of 900m in 43.
