Track work – Thursday, 20 March 2014

Zonza rounded off her preparation for Saturday’s Windsor Park Stud Japan Trophy in fine style at Cambridge today.

Thick fog prevented the timing of most gallops.

Zonza (Macfarlane) was well held throughout 1200m in 1:24.7.  She ran an encouraging race fresh up and should again race well this weekend.

Orbity (Orting) looked in good order to begin a fresh campaign when covering 1000m in 1:7.2.  Orion (Legg) left 1200m behind in 1:21.1, finishing off in 38.7.  He should be a leading chance in his Tauranga engagement on Saturday.

Lady Cumquat (Hills) and The Tidy Express (Macfarlane) were on terms throughout 1200m in 1:23.  Rock Express (Crawford) left 1000m behind in 1:9.  Enjay (Macfarlane) was sent 1200m at three quarter pace, quickening from the 600m in 41.  Brah Spring (Satherley) came to the end of 1000m in 1:6.6.  Delargos Secret (Norvall) and Miss Foxwood (Colgan) were paired over 1000m in 1:11.  Forever More (Hills) and Sakology (Macfarlane) were timed from the 600m in 44.
