Guns At Five endorsed his Wellington Cup chances with a smart gallop at Cambridge today

Working on the plough, Guns at Five (Gatu) pace worked over two rounds prior to sprinting 600m in 36.9.    He is at peak fitness for Saturday’s Trentham feature.

Her To Eternity (Murphy) did her Wellington prospects no harm when working nicely in from the 1200m in 1:22.9, finishing off in 40.   Brah Spring (Waddell) was given a comfortable 1000m in 1:11.1, the concluding section in 43.9.    Enlightened Knight (Shaw) strode easily from the 1000m in 1:15 and 44.2.   King’s Call (Hills) and Sakology (Macfarlane) stretched strides from the 1200m in 1:20, coming home in 38.1.

Popeye Braggins (Marshall) left 600m behind in 39.   Lady Cumquat (Hills) travelled nicely throughout 1000m, the final 600m timed in 39.   Felicity Hall (Cameron) completed the last 600m of 1200m in 37.8.   Chipandchase (Litchi) was let off with a three quarter pace 1000m, the last 600m in 44. 

Cool Gal (Waters) sprinted 600m in 38.3.   Bronden (Dillon) and Impey Louis (Burgess) did well from the 600m in 36.7.    Orbity (Orash) sprinted 600m in 38.6.    Yuleanne (Jago) and Diamond Edge (Liz) cut out 600m in 36.8.   Orion (Legg) followed in 37.3.    Zonotti (Harris) came to the end of 1200m in 1:27.7 and 42.9.   And Horse Warrior (Waddell) completed 600m in 43.3.
