Track Work – Thursday, 24 January

Trentham acceptor Revolt followed up encouraging Tuesday work with an easy breeze-up over 400m at Cambridge today

Galloping on a good plough Revolt (McVean) hit out well to return 29 for the 400m. Revolt looks a good outside chance in the Group 1 Thorndon Mile.
Marika Mia (Collins) kept up a solid clip from the 1000m in 1:3.3, sprinting the last 600m in 36.7. Hera (Norvall) and No Second Prize (McGoran) matched strides from the 1000m in 1:9.8, the final 600m in 40.1. Clara Jane (Cropp) left 1200m behind in 1:24.6, the concluding 600m in 41.1.

Senatorial (Ormsby) sprinted 600m in 38.6. Zonza (Dalley) was given a comfortable work-out over 1200m in 1:29, the 600m in 41.6. Stablemate C’est Magnifique (Chipperfield) followed with similar work. Bella Zeel (Dalley) ran 1400m in 1:39.2, quickening from the 600m in 38.9. Touch Ahead (Norvall) came to the end of a comfortable 1200m in 1:26, finishing off in 42.

Kelly O’Reilly (Smith) left 600m behind in 40.7. Brandy Belle (Chipperfield) cut out 1200m in 1:26.6, the final section in 40.4 and Alessandra (Dalley) and Posh (Cropp) were clocked from the 1000m in 1:3.3, sprinting the final 600m in 36.5.
