Dancer’s Tale rounded off his preparation for Saturday’s Wellesley Stakes at Trentham with a comfortable workout at Cambridge today.

Galloping on a good sand Dancer’s Tale (Orting) was untroubled to run 600m in 39.9. He will strip well for Saturday’s engagement.

Pouri Chimes (Ormsby), a Wellington Guineas candidate, worked in nicely from the 600m in 39.3. Master Power (Gatu) and Venus Rising (Hughes) worked well together over 1000m in 1:6, sprinting the 600m in 36.9. Neo (Hutton), another Guineas aspirant, came to the end of 600m in 40.4. Twilight Grenita (Orting) prepared for the Wellington Guineas with 600m in 40.4. The Tidy Express (Cowie) was sent an easy 600m in 45.4.

Spinmyworld (Chipperfield) and Mr Garcia (Dalley) left 1200m behind in 1:22.2 and 41.4 for the 600m. Elusive Gold (Roustoby) and Port Elizabeth (Orting) were paired over 600m in 39. Macorla (Roustoby) and Lady Kipling (Orting) came to the end of 1000m in 1:10 and 40.4. Joyful Spirit (Gatu) was let off with a three quarter pace gallop over 800m. O’right Zen (McNab) strode 800m in 56.9.

Galloping on the inside of a good No.2 grass Mansize (L Brennan) and a Savabeel gelding (M Brennan) impressed over 800m in 47.4, the last 600m in 34.8. Fade to Black (Cuneen) kept up a strong gallop from the 1000m in 1:1.9, the final 600m in 35.9.
