Zankuro came through his final gallop for Ruakaka this weekend in good style at Cambridge this morning

Working on a heavy No. 3 Grass, Zankuro (Legg) was kept under a firm hold throughout 1200m in 1:24, completing the final 600m in 40.1.   He looks a strong chance on Saturday.

Illumanati (Thornton) handled the conditions well when running 600m in 39.7.   Mitcham (Hayley) worked in comfortably from the 1200m in 1:26, finishing off in 41.3. Domarco (Pedro) was given an easy task over 600m in 44.

Urban Rocker (Collins) and Imperial Duke (Ormsby) matched strides from the 1200m in 1:22.2, the last 600m in 39.4.   Snave (Jago), who races on Friday at Stratford, was given an easy task over 600m in 45. A Pentire gelding (Brennan) cut out 800m in 56.

Working on the sand, Saywhen (Legg) and a Don Eduardo gelding (Jago) completed 800m in 54.2.   And Carbide (Jago) came to the end of 800m in 55.1.
