Track Work – Thursday, 29 May 2014

Ellerslie aspirant Saywhen came through her final gallop in good style at Cambridge today

Because of scheduled jumpouts later in the morning only a few gallops took place.

Working on the outside of a heavy No.2 Grass, Saywhen (Orting) had Matakana (Joe) as a companion over 1200m in 1:24, the last 600m in 42.2.   Both were travelling comfortably throughout.  Saywhen looks a good prospect on Saturday.

Castletown Stakes candidate Readywhenyouare (Hills) looked in first class order when running 1000m, the concluding 600m in 41.   Chill Bill (Murphy) left 1200m behind in 1:24 and 43.5.   Lady Sayyida (Hills) hit out well from the 1400m in 1:37, the final 600m in 39.6. Little Alfie Brown (Satherley) was sent 1000m in 1:10.3, the last 600m in 39.6
