Open ‘n Shut and Black Hennessy returned strong work at Cambridge today when working on the inside of a dead No.2 Grass

Open ‘n Shut (Gatu), who begins a fresh campaign at Hastings this weekend and Black Hennessy (Blame) did well to run the final 600m of 800m in 35.9.   Both were travelling well at the finish

Neo (Waddell) and Mistaar (Legg) were in good form from the 1200m in 1:17.6, finishing off in 37.   Makadoo (Orash) and Sound (Hayes) did their weekend prospects no harm, when covering 1200m in 1:17.4, completing the final section in 36.8.  Decorah (Holmquist) sprinted 800m in 38.4.   Last start winner Torlarno (Foote), who races at Hastings on Saturday, left 800m behind in 51.4. 

Von Krumm (Stam) was timed from the 600m in 39.   Royal Tiger (Reid) completed an easy 1000m in 1:14, the 600m in 43.   Future King (Hills) looked in good order when coasting 800m in 57. 

Sacred Spin (Smith) sprinted 600m in 38.6.   Guns at Five (Gatu) who has been working well in recent weeks, came in nicely from the 1200m in 1:16 and 36.2.   Altai Rose (Cornege) cut out 800m in 52.1.   Apache Taat (Roustoby) and Ignition (Tiko) worked well together over 1000m in 1:3.8, dashing the final 600m in 36.4.   Hannah Mary (Mirrabelli) ran 600m in 39.5.   

Working on the No.1 Grass More Than Sacred (Smith) was not fully extended when running 800m in 54.7.
