Decorah, an unlucky runner on debut, handled the heavy conditions well at Cambridge this morning.

Galloping on the inside of the No.3 grass Decorah (Hutton) and Here to Eternity (Orting) were sent 800m, sprinting the final 600m in 38.

Le Couguar (Barkla) and Let’s Talk Gold (Norvall) matched strides from the 600m in 41.4. Taking the Mickey (Donoghue) worked in from the 1200m in 1:26, the concluding 600m in 39.9. Siem Reap (Norvall) cut out 800m in 54. Impy Louis (medium weight) and Brondan (Forbes) worked well together over 800m in 51. Enjoyit (Forbes) and a Kashani gelding (medium weight) were timed from the 600m in 39.1. Lost World (Roustoby) had Bee Jay Belle (Orting) for a companion over 1000m, the final 600m being completed in 38.9. Mr Rimfire (German) looked fit for racing at Hawera on Thursday when running 1000m in 1:9, finishing off in 40. Buckles (Collett) left 600m behind in 40.7.

Ballesteros (Collett) and Herman (Webb) were clocked from the 600m in 39.4. Mackadoo (Roustoby) and Hurricane Mickey (Orting) came to the end of 1000m in 1:9, the last 600m in 40.2.
Working on the sand Hemacho (Harley) and Almon (Webb) completed 1000m in 1:7.7, the last 600m in 37.9. Little Alfie Brown (Satherley) was let off with a three quarter pace 1400m, quickening over the last 600m in 40. Last start winner Carbonado (Frank) worked over two rounds, sprinting the last 600m in 38.8. Pellegrini (Orting) came to the end of 1000m in 1:8, the concluding 600m in 38.8. Swami (Hutton) returned 54.2 for 800m. Twilight Grenata (Roustoby) and Watch King (German) came in from the 600m in 39.7.
