Ruud Awakening confirmed her favouritism for Sunday’s Karaka Million with an outstanding gallop at Cambridge this morning

Galloping on a good No.1 grass Ruud Awakening (Cribben) was sent 1000m with a Keeper gelding (Harris) in 1:2.4, the last 600m in 36.2. Ruud Awakening drew clear near the finish and looked full of running at the finish.

Working on the plough Wellington Cup candidate My Scotsgrey (Mickey) was in excellent form when completing 1400m with Miss Isle (Arka) in 1:30.2, the final 600m in a fast 35.9. The Darling One (Young) and Herman (Harley) kept up a solid clip from the 1200m in 1:16.1, finishing off in 36.

Revolt (Browne) was too slick for stablemate Tilda (D Browne) over the final stages of 1200m in 1:19, dashing the final 600m in 35.1. Boomchuckalucka (Cropp) and Clara Jane (Chipperfield) worked well together over 1000m in 1:3.4 and 37.4.

Future King (Norvall) and Spinmyworld (Jonty) matched strides from the 1000m in 1:5.3 and 37.4. Sophie Clare (Keoghan) left 800m behind in 50.9, the last 600m in 36.6. Lady Kipling (Orting) and Twilight Granita (Murphy) came to the end of 1200m in 1:18.3, the last 600m in 37. C’est Magnifique (Chipperfield) was sent 1200m in 1:20.7, the 600m in 40.4.

Sanfur (Dalley) ran an easy 1000m in 1:10, coming home in 40. Allure (Jonty), No Second Prize (McGoran) and Honeymoon (Cropp) worked in from the 1000m in 1:9.8 and 40.7. Blue Nile (Roustoby) left 600m behind in 39. Full of Spirit (Chipperfield) was comfortable throughout 1200m in 1:25.1, the concluding 600m in 39. Wairaka (McGoran), Le Moussier (Chipperfield) and The Terminator (Dalley) covered 1600m in 1:51.7 and 43.2.

Aurora Lights (Harris) completed 1400m in 1:36.4 and 39.1. Our Supernova (Lars) was given an easy task over 600m in 44.4. Duchessofcambridge (Dalley) and Bella Zeel (Chipperfield) covered 1400m in 1:39.7 and 39.3. Any Moular (Cornege) worked in well from the 1200m in 1:19.4, the 600m in 37.3.
