Carbide and Chill Bill worked well together on a foggy morning at Cambridge today

Carbide (Burgess) and Chill Bill (German) matched strides from the 1200m in 1:20.6, the final 600m in 40.1.

Media World (Harris) strode 1200m in 1:23.8, the 600m in 41.6.   Oak Park (Hutton) worked in from the 1000m in 1:9, finishing off in 41.   Aston Martin (McIlroy) and Surf (Staples) were sent 1000m at three quarter pace, quickening over the final 600m in 41.3.    Recession Proof (Cribben) returned 1:24 for 1200m, the last 600m in 42.   Packing Express (McGorrian) and Mitchem (Reid) ran 1200m in 1:23, finishing off in 41.4.

Snow Excuse (McFarlane) and Alphabet Street (Cropp) left 1200m behind in 1:21.8, the 600m in 41.2.   Monkey Rock (Stam) and a Shinko King gelding (Leong) from the Busuttin and Young stable, were clocked from the 600m in 42.4.

Galloping on the sand Pycock Flyer (Harris) ran 600m in 41.2.   Coogee Flyer (Shaw) followed in 40.9.   Little Alfie Brown (Satherley) came to the end of 1000m in 1.11 and 40.7.    Three members of the Chris Wood stable, Bob Valdez, Handsome Mates and Marguerita Time, who are due to race at Ruakaka on Saturday, were taken to Raglan Beach for a work out this morning. 

Promising apprentice rider Lee McGorrian, will have his first raceday ride this weekend aboard the Stephen Marsh trained Pycock Flyer.
