Track Work – Tuesday, 28 August 2012

The timing of most gallops at Cambridge today was interrupted by thick fog.

Working on a heavy No.4 grass He’s Remarkable (Dally) endorsed his prospects for the Group 1 Makfi Challenge Stakes at Hastings on Saturday with an encouraging  gallop over 1200m.  He was travelling strongly at the finish and looks in first class order for his weekend engagement.

On the No.2 grass Vanilla (Kelly) looked fit for the Rating 65 1400m at Hastings, when accompanied by The Governator (Emily) over 1200m in 1:19.6.   Mackadoo (Roustoby) was travelling sweetly throughout 1200m in 1:18.9.  Jeu de Cartes (Orting) followed with 1200m in 1:20.1.   Khemosabi (Frank) left 1200m behind in 1:23. Impressive last start winner Thunderbird One (Roustoby) had Great of Favours (Orting) for a companion over 1200m in 1:17.9.   Miss Jaydeejay (German) followed with similar work.  Tribal Dancer (Dillon) breezed up over 400m in 27.4.   Caleese (German) was timed the last 400m of work in 27.3.   Te Kingi (Collins) came in from the 600m in 43.7.

Galloping on a firm sand Chill Bill (Orting) and Lost World (Roustoby) sprinted 600m in 37.   Decorah (Orting) and Keepit (German) were paired over 600m in 40.1. Torino (Harley) and Darci Divine (Cuneen) ran 1000m, sprinting the last 600m in an impressive 38.1.  Street Sense (Harris) was given a comfortable 600m in 44 and Trust (Roustoby) completed an easy 600m in 43.9
