Trackwork – Thursday, 1st August 2013

Sangster and Dundeel were star gallopers to perform well at the Cambridge jumpouts today.

The No.1 grass provided  slow going  but was in good order when Sangster (Young) worked nicely alongside promising three-year-old El Roca (Kuru) and a Bachelor Duke (McNab) from the 800m in 54, the final 600m in 41.3. Sangster looks in great order for his pending spring engagements, highlighted by the Melbourne Cup in November.

Dundeel (Murphy) also looked good when comfortably running 800m in 54.4, coming home in 42. Thunderbird One (Roustoby) held a slight advantage over Orion (Murphy) at the completion of 800m in 54.2. Macka’s Back (Cameron) and Marmi (medium weight) cut out 800m in 54.1. Sacred Park, Kelly O’Reilly and Stella Genes (all medium weighted) were together throughout 800m in 54.8. Mia’s Angel (McNab), a Darci Brahma gelding (Young) and an Any Suggestion gelding (Kuru) were clocked from the 600m in 38.3.

Galloping on the No.4 grass Silent Achiever (Dally) strode comfortably from the 1000m in 1:12.7, the last 600m in 41.6. Another track star Rollout the Carpet (Browne) looked fit when clocked from the 600m in 38.4.

Galloping on the No.2 grass Snave (Hills), who has struck a good patch of form, completed 1200m with Keepit (Alyshia) in 1:20.3, coming home in 37.9.
