SPRING DELIGHT showed she will be hard to beat at Ellerslie this weekend with encouraging work this morning.

Galloping on the plough, SPRING DELIGHT was sent 1000m, quickening from the 600m, clocked in 38. She has had two runs this time in and was a second over 1600m at her most recent start. She steps up over 2100m this weekend, a distance she has won twice.

SO WICKED could be one for odds fresh up at Ellerslie. She was given an easy task over 800m, running the last 600m in 44.8. She has been working well lately.

MONGOLIAN HEAVEN and TRUE ENOUGH were on terms at the completion of 1200m in 1:19.2, sprinting home in 37.3. SAI FAH was kept under a firm hold from the 600m in 45.3.

MEDALZA followed in 44.3. KING’S CROSS strode in comfortably from the 600m in 45.

DEELS DONE returned 43.1 for 600m. TAREE and a NIAGARA gelding ran the fastest 600m of the morning in 35.8.

REGGIEWOOD came in from the 600m in 46. LONG LASHES cut out 600m in 39.8.

HASSTOBEGOOD was sent 1200m in 1:26.2 and 42. SACRED FALLS|LILLET was let off with 600m at three quarter pace. APELLIDO and ANJAMEME ran 1200m in 1:20.2, home in 38.2.

CABALLERO and BERGAMOT returned 1:8.1 and 39.3 for 1000m. EROS and ZEALAND were timed from the 1200m in 1.27, home in 44.

LINCOLN KING ran 600m in 43.2. KRAKADEEL came in from the 600m in 39.8. BEVAN STREET was clocked from the 600m in 42.6. CRAFTY JESS ran the final 600m of 800m in 40.
